Rebuild helps Plunket Do up: The House of Dreams in Beach Haven after renovation work started. By JESS ETHERIDGE The House of Dreams team took a break from renovations over the festive season but is back with plans to auction the 1940s-era house in late March. An auction for the house was planned for early December but there are still tasks to complete before it is ready for sale, Ray White Beach Haven s Glenn Car- penter says. The house at 43 Rangatira Rd has been under renovation since last October and will be auc- tioned to raise money for Beach Haven Plunket. It is hoped $50,000 will be raised from the sale to do up Plunket s Beach Haven clinic, including soundproofing and adding pram parks. The House of Dreams is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom property with businesses and members of the community all pitching in to strip it down and completely refurbish it. Open homes are held each weekend so people can view the progress. Another community garage sale is planned for tomorrow with donated goods going on sale. A total of $1046 was raised in the first community garage sale. This week P S Electrical fin- ished off the pre-wire, McDer- mond Plumbing popped in on Wednesday, Mammoth insulation was installed on Thursday and an Auckland Council inspector is expected today for a pre-lining inspection, Mr Carpenter says. Contract Landscapes has built us a beautiful new retaining wall which has levelled the back lawn for that all-important entertain- ing area. Tomorrow's community garage sale starts at 8.30am at 43 Rangatira Rd, Beach Haven. Probus club wants you Glenfield Combined Pro- bus is seeking active retirees to join the club. New pizza innovation Your choice: Four different pizza tastes in a box. The days of battling with your partner, flatmates or family over which pizza to order may become a thing of the past with the release Domino s new Pizza Sliders. Pizza Sliders feature a pack of four individually sized pizzas which means everyone gets their favourite flavour every time they order. Originating in Dom- ino s India, Domino s Pizza Sliders have been a global success for the pizza giant who is now making them available to pizza fans in New Zea- land from next Monday. Available in packs of four, the hand-held Pizza Sliders offer the choice and value customers are looking for says Dom- ino s general manager NZ, Josh Kilimnik. He says the new Pizza Sliders are the perfect tapas box with one pack offering a customer the selection of Meatlovers, Supreme, Pepperoni and Hawaiian pizzas. We have specifically served up the top four favourite choices on our menu. These pizzas have been our best performing products for years and they really are synony- mous with our brand -- when people think of pizza, they tend to think of these four selections. Kilimnik says the com- pany has been working on perfecting the sliders range for some time, making sure that it would impress pizza con- sumers and taste just like the Domino s Pizza customers know and love. Domino s Pizza Sliders are similar in size to cheeseburgers and are available for customers for $4 dollars before 4pm and $5 after 4pm (pic- kup).
