Takapuna outplay Waitakere Sent into bat by Waitakere City, Takapuna blasted 294 off 49.4 overs to give thehome side a daunting total to chase at Te Atatu Park in the Jeff Crowe Cup clash on January 18. Auckland representative player Craig Cachopa hit out for Takapuna, scoring 73 off 52 balls, and lower order batsman Blake Douglas also regularly found the boundary in his knock of 55. In reply Waitakere were all out in the 45th over for 210 runs. Ryan Scivier was Takapuna’s stand out with the ball capturing three wickets for 20 runs.
