The Suddenly In Charge' tutorial is designed to engage women in boat safety and provide the skills and knowledge to help them deal with emergencies on-board a vessel at sea such as a man overboard, fire or medical problem. Each course involves an emergency and safety equipment overview, a theory section to cover off rules, regulations and markers and a practical com- ponent that includes a rope throw, tying up to a wharf/jetty and fender replacement/usage.
