The church is pumping with programmes for kids and youth that run all week round at their North Shore campus, 794 East Coast Rd. Every Sunday, around 350 children gather for Kid's Church -- a fun and dynamic learning experi- ence that includes sing- ing, games, teaching, crafts and a full-fledged stage show with audi- ence participation. Young people aged seven to nine have their own action-packed pro- gramme called Junior High with crazy games, competitions and motiv- ational speakers. Parents can drop their children at Kid's Church from 9.30am and enjoy a coffee in the cafe before joining the adult church service at 10am. Alternatively, parents of children aged five and up can leave their chil- dren at Kid's Church. At City Impact Church, we are passion- ate about the value of children and place pri- ority on the next gener- ation,'' says children's pastor Matt Forman. Our programmes are designed to inspire chil- dren to have confidence in who they are, and to reach their potential, while having fun along the way.'' Every Wednesday the church runs Music Box, a music and movement programme for babies and preschoolers, with one half-hour session at 9.30am and one at 10.30am. City Impact Church's Arts Academy attracts over 100 students every week for lessons in hip hop, ballet, musical theatre, violin, piano, drums, guitar and bass. The Academy caters for children as young as three, right through to adults. The church also has a professional childcare facility and kindergarten on site with fully quali- fied Early Childhood Educators who provide a safe and caring environ- ment for children under five. City Impact Church School now boasts a roll of over 100 children aged from years 0 to 10. After school care is also avail- able for school-aged chil- dren. Contact City Impact Church on 477-0300 or go to www.cityimpact church.com.
